The Boston Bruins introduced on Wednesday that head coach Jim Montgomery will take a depart of absence from the crew till Oct.1 following the dying of his mom, Dorothy.
“The Boston Bruins prolong our sincerest condolences to Jim Montgomery and all the Montgomery household on the current passing of his mom, Dorothy,” the Bruins mentioned in an announcement. “Coach Montgomery will journey to Montreal for funeral providers this week and return to crew actions on Sunday, October 1.”
The Black and Gold are slated to take part in on-ice follow at Warrior Ice Area on Thursday with Group A starting at 10:30 a.m. ET adopted by Group B at 12 p.m. ET.

If the schedule stays unchanged, the Bruins may have a pregame skate Friday morning at Warrior Ice Area previous to their preseason matchup in opposition to the Philadelphia Flyers that night at TD Backyard.
