
On Thursday, October 26th Jason Rogers was honored with the nationwide Laura Lee Management Award. Jason is at the moment the Coordinator of Office Readiness and Inclusion on the Management & Organizational Improvement group at Particular Olympics Worldwide (SOI). Jason obtained this award as recognition of his trailblazing advocacy to advance alternatives for folks with an mental incapacity (ID) to expertise significant inclusion and entry of their communities. The award was delivered on the State of the Artwork convention, which gathers inclusive postsecondary education schemes to create alternatives for college kids with ID to attend school. Jason graduated from an inclusive postsecondary training program, Lipscomb College’s IDEAL program.

The work I’ve completed in my group, in my state, and in my job has helped me to see the advantages of inclusion. Because the Coordinator of Office Readiness and Inclusion for Particular Olympics Worldwide, I hope to inform different folks, colleges, faculties, and corporations how inclusion helps everybody.”
